About this artwork
In this painting I continue with my exploration of abstraction. It not only creates a feeling of space but helps the figure to blend with and live in the background of the painting. The blurring of edges and boundaries gives a uniform and dreamlike quality to the painting. Also with this painting I have added texture to the surface of the canvas. I feel like it gives a unpredictable aspect to the application of the paint that fits into what I try to achieve with my work.
