About this artwork

Bronze foundry work is so labor intensive and at times, the work can be tedious yet the moment of the pour is charged with excitement that pumps adrenaline in through participators and viewers alike. In this painting, the crucible is being tipped by one craftsman while the other craftsman holds it steady and guides the rate of the pouring stream. The painting is varnished, wired and ready for hanging. The edges are a clean white gesso.
