This painting is inspired by pedestrians on the sidewalks of Paris that brave the cold rain to walk to the farmers' market or wine store. My award-winning, signature Pixel Impressionism style serves to capture the viewer's imagination by rendering the motion of the figure with a contemporary, digitally-inspired form of Impressionism. My influences included abstract Expressionists De Kooning and Diebencorn as well as contemporary artist Chuck Close.
