About this artwork
This body of work: The Light From Within is inspired by Leonard Cohen's “Anthem” - “Ring the bells that still can ring, Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything, That's how the light gets in.” What are we to do but embrace our imperfections and let our inner light shine through, guiding our path. Sanctuary is embellished with gold and silver leaf, with rusted surface underneath. The sides are finished and the painting can be hung unframed.
