About this artwork

Besides having an affinity for ravens, artist Sally Adams shares her admiration for the band, Counting Crows. A combination of brisk and detailed brushstrokes creates soft feathers on the raven's dark flowing coat. Perched on a wooden slab, the raven is surrounded by a soft dreamy glow. Sally quotes the band, One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl.
