About this artwork

Although I think the title is self explanatory, I was moved by the flattering angles and the way the yellow gown draped on her body. I used thick paint to create movement, texture, and vivid color. The edges are gallery wrapped with painting continuing around, so it can be hung as is. She is varnished and wired as well.
