New Artist Spotlight: Mary Lea Bradley, Kathleen Robison, and Natalia Soboleva
We have new artists! Every Thursday we welcome a batch of new personalities to the UGallery community. The three ladies this week all work in California. As a group, the paintings are light and airy.
Find out how the dreamy California coast affects our new artists Mary Lea Bradley, Kathleen Robison, and Natalia Soboleva. Below is a little bit about their work. If you like what you see, let them know by leaving a comment on their profile pages and welcoming them to UGallery!
Mary Lea Bradley. San Diego, California
Mary Lea Bradley’s art holds the key to an inner world. Unlock the personal inspiration and vision of this intuitive artist for a glimpse at the collective subconscious. Her abstractions leave the door to an emotional world wide open, so viewers can enter a space that welcomes self-reflection and intimate spirituality. Mary Lea Bradley mixes the mystical with the modern by pairing non-objective forms with figurative allusions.
Kathleen Robison. San Clemente, California
Kathleen Robison has an unlimited resource for inspiration: nature. All her paintings are done en plein air and alla prima. In one sitting, she manages to capture the great outdoors. She layers wet paint on wet paint, allowing the air to dry it for a nice finishing touch. Her outdoor art excursions fills her portfolio with classical interpretations of the California coast.
Natalia Soboleva. Santa Clara, California
Landscape and still life. These two genres lend themselves perfectly for a realist painter as well as an impressionist painter. Natalia Soboleva is both. Her still life and landscape paintings blend realism with impressionism for artwork that harks back to her idols- Durer, Titian, and Michelangelo.
