Two Days to Go! Meet More AAF Artists

Only two more days until we land in New York! We’ve got some great pieces and talented artists coming with us, too.

Last week we showed you the first five artists but there are still more to meet. And remember — if you fall in love with a piece we’re selling at AAF you can buy it online now. Free shipping on all artwork, as always.

See you soon, New York!

The Artists, Group 2

Krispen Spencer

Krispen uses a technique of pouring fluid acrylics to create her paintings. Her staccato style illustrates the powerful qualities of primordial beginnings: the inception of a storm, the budding of a flower or the genesis of a star. She currently lives in Texas.

Piero Manrique

Piero paints artwork with a distinct luminescence and bright color palette. In his current series, Piero works mainly with his fingers and special pouring techniques, and loves how the works keep changing as they dry. He currently lives in New York.

Robert Mullenix

Robert creates landscapes from published images, exploring the irony of painting nature from a lifeless photocopy. He thinks mostly in the elements that make up a landscape — verticals, diagonals, organic shapes, dots and marks. He currently lives in Ohio.

Scott Bergey

Scott creates abstract pieces and figures that come from his imagination. His work has a sense of playfulness and humor, along with a rough, rusty feel. When he’s not making art, Scott works as an airline pilot. He currently lives in Canada.

Warren Keating

Warren merges artistic elements of the 20th century with 21st century technology. He captures subjects on video and paints them on canvas in an active style he describes as Pixel Impressionism. He currently lives in California.
