Row of Sheep, East Anglia
Photographer Russell Hart portrays the landscape in sometimes unexpected ways. "Some of my best pictures are made in places that would not be considered beautiful by standard landscape definitions,“ he explains.
He crafts each image to feel hazy in the style of Impressionism or even Pointilism. He looks for simplified and formal scenes to capture — especially landscapes that hint at a human presence even when there isn’t one.
