An Odd Encounter
The Surrealist photo manipulations of Andrew Sikora will definitely have you looking twice. The artist received his BFA from Central Michigan University and loves the color green. His work definitely feels strange yet familiar. I like the way he explains the intent behind his pieces:
I try to instill a dream-like quality in much of my work: teetering on the edge of reality, with an incline toward the surreal. I want my viewer to look at my work and be somewhat confused as we often are in dreams, yet in the same breath, intrigued.
