New Art Thursday: Getting Abstract

Robin Sierra, Blue Dream

The beauty of abstract art is that while the title sometimes hints at the piece’s inspiration, each viewer can bring his/her own interpretation. Getting lost in the colors and shapes of an abstract composition can bring up different associations and memories.

This week, we added a lot of new abstract pieces with different color palettes, textures and subject matter. Some artists found inspiration in a specific place or the look of a landscape after the rain.
