Collection Spotlight: Story Of A Day

Story Of A Day, UGallery’s newest and most experimental curated collection to date, tells the story of a single, ordinary day. The collection begins in the morning and ends in the evening. The artwork in between, which includes morning commutes, lunch breaks, evening leisure time and more, chronicles the ordinary moments of a day.

This collection follows the sun’s daily route and emphasizes the light’s graceful transitions. From the morning’s first light, as depicted by John Diehl, to the starry night sky, as depicted by Kloska Ovidu, the scrolling viewer embodies the passage of time.

Unlike any other collection before on UGallery, this collection forms a story within itself. Rather than each artwork’s relationship to a single theme, the narrative of this collection gains it shape from the relationships between the other artworks in the collection.
