Art-Inspired Weddings that Have Us Swooning

When it comes to weddings, the possibilities for creativity are endless. I love browsing gorgeous weddings, especially DIY projects! And lately I’ve noticed some amazing art-themed weddings that I just had to share. A lot of the themes actually reminded me of UGallery works, too!

Check out some of my favorite art-themed weddings below. Proof that art can inspire almost every part of your life!

Fueling Guests’ Creativity

This couple had a fantastic idea: turning their guests into artists. Instead of a traditional guest book, they went for an adorable watercolor station. For party favors, they gave away a watercolor palette. And if you look closely, you can see the note says “thank you from the bottom of our art.” Too cute.

Degas’ work is timeless and when this couple adapted the artist’s painting to theme their wedding, the result is magical. This elegant party proves that a great work of art can withstand the test of time. What a beautiful arrangement!

A fantastic work of art can leave you almost breathless and I definitely gasped I saw the amazing artsy cake this couple designed. A colorful backdrop also made for gorgeous photos. Bright colors always make any occasion even more special.

This couple really reached back into art history with a wedding that took inspiration from Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus.” We love the invitations and gorgeous table settings!

This bright colorful wedding caught my attention because of its adorable attention to detail! The small yellow canvas that showed seating assignments is one of many artsy touches. Even the cakes were based on a piece by Wayne Thiebaud. So creative!

Weddings are usually pretty glitzy to begin with but this couple upped the glam by basing their theme on a fantastic, golden artwork! I love the table arrangements and the fantastic detail on the cake! It almost looks like real paint on a canvas.
