Here at UGallery, we’re counting down the days to the Affordable Art Fair! Five. See, I told you we were counting.
We’re very excited to exhibit a mixture of new and returning artists at AAF, none more so than the lovely Jonelle Summerfield. You can find Jonelle’s work on UGallery here.
Jonelle Summerfield takes an impressionistic approach to her romantic street scenes and bustling interiors. She travels extensively throughout the eastern United States, Europe and Canada, shooting all of her own reference material. Jonelle says it is important for her to remember the mood of the location she’s painting. Recently, she was commissioned to paint the interior of a pub and decided to visit Ireland for the subject matter. She currently lives in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Fun fact: Jonelle’s mother taught her to paint in 2001 after she received her degree in Interior Design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
The Affordable Art Fair is held at the Metropolitan Pavilion from March 25 to 29th. Pop by if you’re in New York! (we’re booth 1.2)
